We could all make our own cleaning products from natural materials available in Dominica? But who has the time for that? Certainly not I.
While in the US (Brooklyn, NY) last summer, I discovered a brand of products, “Seventh Generation,” that is “Non-toxic, Biodegradable, and Vegetable-based”, and has “no phosphates, dyes or fragrances.” The company says, “If every household in the US replaced just one bottle of 32 oz. petroleum based all-purpose cleaner with our renewable resource based product, we could save 7,100 barrels of oil, enough to heat and cool 400 US homes for a year!” Visit them at: http://www.seventhgeneration.com.
